68th Annual Emmy Awards Recap!

Last night the 68th annual Emmy Awards aired in Los Angeles, California highlighting and awarding phenomenal thespians. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel there were some great wins and a lot of history made for hit shows like Game of Thrones!

After winning 12 overall awards this year Game Of Thrones made history winning the most Emmys for a Primetime TV show! Overall the show has won 38 Emmys during its six seasons on television, beating out Fraiser who won 37 Emmys over its eleven season lifespan.

A beautiful moment happened when Courtney B. Vance won for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie beating out his co-star Cuba Gooding Jr. Vance gave a nice speech hitting on the points of the importance of education and also highlighting the love of his life, Angela Bassett! This power couple is definitely an inspiration and the ultimate #couplegoals. Check out Vance acceptance speech below!
